But far
beyond the visual, the Austrian artist stands as a self-determined, authentic Pop and EDM act who feels just
as at home in the studio as she does on stage. As one of only 4% of women in the music industry who
produce their own songs, she embodies a relentless “Self Do, Self Have, Self Made” mindset — an attitude
that has carried her straight to the top.
PAENDA chose music early on: she sang, played instruments, and explored Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre, and
even Classical music. After finishing school, she followed her path with unwavering focus and studied Jazz
and Pop Voice — a foundation that shaped her technical precision, artistic discipline, and musical versatility.
When she later stepped into the world of music production, an entirely new sonic universe unfolded for
her: electronic pop became her creative playground.
In 2017, PAENDA appeared on the scene for the first time with her artist project and quickly made a name
for herself. Tracks like “Good Girl” and “Waves” combined her formal musical training with modern
electropop structures and meticulously crafted arrangements. On stage, she proved that performing live is
her true home — whether at the Donauinselfest, the DigitalAnalog festival in Germany, or as
support for Jessie J.
In 2019, she released her second album “EVOLUTION II”, marking her deliberate move into a broader
electro-pop sound. Then came the moment that changed everything: representing Austria at the
Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, PAENDA suddenly stood in front of a global audience of
millions. It was a single event that completely shifted the trajectory of her career — opening international
doors and massively elevating her visibility. This was followed by performances at Electric Nation in
Graz, a headliner slot at the Popfest Vienna, and rapid growth of her fanbase both at home and abroad.
In the years that followed, her sound evolved — becoming more mature, more international, and more
independent. On her own label, Sick Kick Records, founded in 2020, PAENDA released the EPs “My
Heart” and “My Issues”, inspired by modern pop acts such as Halsey or Rita Ora. In 2021, she
successfully expanded further into EDM through collaborations like “Animal” (Pule feat. Third Snow) and
“Run” with VLLN and Sol Novar — the official title track of the Adidas Terrex Infinite Trail Run
2022 — establishing herself as an in-demand dance-pop act. That year alone, she appeared 17 times in the
Release Radar.
Alongside her own music, PAENDA increasingly established herself as a songwriter and producer for
other artistsbetween 2023 and 2025. Her ability to blend emotional depth, pop sensibility, and modern
production has made her a sought-after creative collaborator in both the national and international music
scene.
In 2023, she released her third studio album “CALL ME CAT” — packed with strong hooks and themes
such as catcalling, age discrimination, and the constant pressure to perform. The accompanying short film
further showcased her artistic depth and unmistakable vision.
In 2024, PAENDA continued her journey into EDM-pop with releases like “You Go” and “One More
Time.” She performed at the Vive la Femme all-female festival in Vienna and later received the very
first MuFA Award for Women Music Producers in Austria.
2025 brought the power single “Up & Down,” followed by the self-love anthem “Good to Myself.”
In spring, she released “Never Be Alone” and the summery feel-good track “Location.” With her hit
single “Ey Nah,” she kicked off the festival season with full force — the track spent weeks on Austrian
radio, entered the Ö3 listener charts, and strengthened her position as one of the country’s most
distinctive pop acts.
And after this successful summer, something bigger is finally on the horizon again:
A brand-new mini album is set for release in spring 2026 — the next major artistic milestone for
an artist who never stands still and continues to reshape the pop landscape with every release.
