Touring extensively, including shows in Europe (2015 & 2016 totalled a staggering 245 performances), two successful releases in the band’s debut album 'Top Shelf Content' (Dec 2012), second album “Streetwise” (Sept 2014), plus national airplay on BBC Radio 2, Walkway have a huge national fan-base of all ages and a large ever growing online fan base to match.
The successful Walkway brand sees a range of merchandise from caps and badges to beanies and T-shirts and hoodies, plus copies of the bands albums sold and promoted by the band themselves.
The distinctive Walkway logo is easily recognised and seen up and down the country.
In July 2017 the band released their highly anticipated third album, titled 'WWIII'.
Recorded in only 13 days at Sonic One Studio, Wales and mastered at the legendary Abbey Road Studio's by Sean Magee (Grammy winner for his work on the 2009 Beatles Re-masters, and has worked with some of the most prestigious names in pop, rock and jazz worldwide including Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, John Lennon, Gary Moore, Duke Ellington, Nina Simone, U2, Tina Turner, The Sex Pistols and Public Image).
The record contains 12 new Walkway songs, plus a tribute to the late Status Quo Guitarist/Vocalist Rick Parfitt with a cover of Quo's "Rain".
The track also features original Status Quo Drummer John Coghlan guesting on drums.
The album has received rave reviews from the press and public with regular comments of "best rock album of the year so far".
2017 sees Walkway reach the 10 year milestone, plus play their 1000th show since forming in 2007.
