No Guts | Single | 2020 |
His style is a perpetual travel between organic sounds, classical and electronic music. Most of the time in minor keys.
Victor Landau, originally from Paris suburbs, has started playing music as a teenager. First, as guitar and bass player in multiple indie rock bands, then playing and improvising gipsy guitar. At that time, he performed in various bars, cafés and streets in Paris.
Victor started podcasting on Soundcloud as Ʋiqtoro in 2016. He self-released a few edits (Fatoumata Diawara, Kyson,...) which got the attention of a few DJs such as Kraut, Discoshaman, Warte:mal, Rolandson, Just Emma, Sarah Kreis. In 2017, he joined force with his best friend OURSON to release "Low tide" (Viqtourson), one of the most popular Klangextase free downloads so far, and a first EP on Seasidetrip.
His work also includes a short film scoring for Michael Desantes (Hollywood actor and director), official remix for the French artist Aloïse Sauvage, releases on trndmsk, Akasha MX, Stingray Vision Records, live collaborations with Lopal.
Victor is focusing on releasing his first solo EP (February 2020) and playing live with his own solo project. The live set can be played between 110 and 120 bpm, is made for the dance floor and leaves room for improvisation: Launchpad, sequencer and Microfreak.
