Mountain of Love is the brainchild of programmer/multi instrumentalist Piers Marsh and drummer/percussionist Sir Eddie Real, who were 2 of the 3 the founder members of Alabama 3, writers of "Woke Up This Morning", theme tune to the hit HBO series The Sopranos.

The music and the line-up of Mountain Of Love has been stripped down and their sound is intense. It's heavier, more dub based, with great swathes of insane psychedelic electronic funk, noisy slabs of old school techno, with a whiff of the blues and some swampy deep soul thrown into the mix. It's joyous music created by a duo that has played together for nearly two decades. Mountain Of Live sees the front-person duties handled with panache and energy by Saul Drillaz (ex London Big Beat outfit - The Headrillaz).
