Motherfathers - a psychedelic noise-rock band from Moscow, Russia.

Formed in 2006 by the core-trio of Dmitriy Peitsch (voice, guitar, electronics), Maxim Elizarov (guitar, electronics, keyboards) and Olga Nosova (drums). The band's debut album "Kolchak!" (2007, R.A.I.G.) received positive reviews in Russian music press (Rolling Stone, Billboard) as well as international online media. The band used to stick to a heavy concert routine, performed at Afisha Picnic festival, took part in Moscow Music Week, while putting out 4 albums and 2 maxi-singles. Reformed after a period of relative hiatus caused by line-up changes the band is once again a trio with the inclusion of drummer Dmitry Syrtsov, leaning towards experimental rock and improvisation.
