MONSTER JAW British alternative/indie rock band ‘’Monster Jaw’ are to release their sophomore EP ‘Losing All My Friends’ this October.

Joining creative forces once again with London based Belgian producer Wes Maebe (The Libertines, Robert Plant, Roger Waters), Monster Jaw aim to build upon the success of their acclaimed EP debut ‘Get A Tattoo’.

Formed in early 2013 by Mik Davis (Vox/Guitar), Neil Short (Bass/Vox) and John Bradford (Drums), Monster Jaw quite immediately garnered strong support from the likes of BBC Introducing and Big Cheese Magazine along with numerous underground radio stations worldwide. Earning comparisons to influential artists such as The Pixies, The Velvet Underground and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the North of England (UK) based trio successfully fuse elements of new wave, punk, indie, grunge and 60’s psychedelia with hook laden choruses and pop sensibility. Praised by Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey as having the ‘honesty and balls’ he felt upon first discovering The Velvet Underground, Monster Jaw are unafraid to write songs around themes such as sex, love, drugs and a disparate future.

Gaining a reputation as a charismatic live band, the trio have already appeared at a number of UK music festivals this year and opened stages for artists such as Urban Voodoo Machine, Stiff Little Fingers, New Model Army and Black Star Riders.

‘Losing All My Friends’ EP is digitally & physically released on 27th October 2014.
