In early 2012 David and Chrissi started off as a duo, and after a few months and first shows Jonny Hoops joined them on electric guitar. In the next two years of doing shows, rehearsing and writing, the three established their own style of music, being influenced by the likes of Jazz, Funk, Artrock.

Then, in late 2014, the group headed out to discover new land and moved from their hometown to Hamburg and Berlin. There they bonded with piano and guitar playing Jan Olthoff, who since then adds a whole new tone to the music of MOHAWK.

MOHAWK is currently working on their first studio album
which will be released in 2015.
