Ethnomusicologist Mehtap Demir both vocalizes and performs Turkey's folk music with Anatolian Kamancheh.
Mehtap Demir’s Ensemble, consisting of local instruments, presents you the music that the people of Asia Minor have accumulated over centuries, expressing love, longing, and absence.
Folk songs of Asia Minor left from the 1900s to us, while surrounding our spirit like a calming perfume, are blended with Anatolia’s archaic cultural richness in our ears.
