A multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, improviser, whose music has been favourably compared to Smog, Papa M, Vincent Gallo, Talk Talk and Bon Iver.

He has collaborated with such musicians as: Hugo Race, Piotr Kurek, Patryk Zakrocki, Paweł Szamburski, Hubert Zemler, and Resina among others. He is a co-founder of and a participant in numerous interdisciplinary artistic projects and workshops (including SIM - The School for Improvisational Music, NY, USA).

He has performed at major music and art festivals in Poland and abroad, including: Eurosonic Noorderslag, OFF Festival, Enea Spring Break, Zandari Festa, c/o pop Festival, Open’er Festival or Liverpool Sound City. In 2016, he started collaborating with visual artists, including Weronika Ławniczak and Pola Dwurnik.
Recently he has started making soundtrack works for film and TV.

His albums gained much acclaim from journalists, radio stations and press in Poland and abroad (Mateusz's second album "Night-night" was the album of the week on the international Polish radio station - Polskie Radio Trojka and album of the week in the biggest Polish newspaper "Gazeta Wyborcza").
