Formed in 2017 by Greek artists Marva Voulgari (singer-songwriter, pianist) and Theo Foinidis (pianist, composer, producer), Marva Von Theo carve a unique niche in electronic-pop with their emotionally resonant, boundary-pushing sound. Their music is a sophisticated blend of electronic, acoustic, and orchestral elements that thrives on contrasts — introspective yet explosive, fragile yet commanding, fierce, futuristic yet darkly romantic — transitioning seamlessly from haunting, poetic atmospheres to redemptive, uplifting electronic beats.

Their songs explore the full spectrum of human emotion: the ache of lost love, the quiet struggle with self-doubt, the inner conflict stirred by unfulfilled expectations, and ultimately, the hard-won clarity that comes with growth. The lyrics balance raw vulnerability with resilient optimism, finding light even in life's darker corners.

The duo has released two albums—Dream Within a Dream (2018, reissued on vinyl in 2019) and Afterglow (2021, Shades of Sound/Wave Records) — with their third, We Were Never Lost, due late 2025.

Known for atmospheric, electrifying live performances, they’ve opened for Trentemøller and Hooverphonic and performed at European festivals including Release Athens (alongside Leftfield, Stereo Nova and Boy Harsher), Linecheck in Milan, Nocturnal Cultural Nights in Germany and Athens Digital Arts Festival. They’ve also held two sold-out conceptual shows — “Sonus Naturalis” (Fournos Theatre) and “Atmospheres” (Anglican Church of Athens) — showcasing their versatility in reimagining their music for unconventional spaces.
