Announced on January the 24th 2016 at the Free For All Festival, LUNA TIDES started an exciting journey that instantaneously gave people something to talk about.
Their first single 'Over The Cliffs' gained praise from the likes of BBC's Bethan Eflyn; "How Accomplished does that sound!” and BBC Introducing's Adam Walton; "How Wonderful is that!" as well as being played on Tom Robinson's Fresh On The Net Mixtape.
Three months into the band, LUNA TIDES made it to the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition Long List. Indie Music UK wrote - “Luna Tides, is one of the brightest artists to come out of Wales in recent years!”
Partnering up with the Forte Project and Young Promoters Network in Wales, Luna Tides have performed a run of festivals in 2016, including The Big Cwtch Festival and supporting Top Loader.
LUNA TIDES' debut EP 'Open Woods' was released on November 24th 2016, with a sell out show at the renown Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff.
