North Wales Yr Eira attack the template set by the likes of Super Furry Animals, Big Leaves and Yr Ods with serrated guitars and a seemingly endless supply of incandescent melodies.
They released the long awaited single 'Dros y Bont' in May 2017 as a preview for the new album 'Toddi' which was released in the summer of 2017.
There is an unforced magic to Toddi which suggests that Yr Eira have arrived at a point of significance - as a conscious echo of what has been said elsewhere what they do next will matter; build on this and they are headed somewhere vital.
