KONICHIWA PANDA is a K-Pop band based in Germany and formed in early 2012 by lead vocalist Alexander Schulze, through a Producer who introduced the future band members to eachother. The Band's debut-single "Fujiko" took part of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 pre-selection for Svizzerland and became one of the most popular songs of Europe's Favorite TV Show. After a huge interest of the Media, TV and press, Konichiwa Panda presented the song on Suiss number one TV show JOIZ in October 2012 through a live performance and an exclusive interview. This show already had guest stars like One Direction, Marina & The Diamonds, Rita Ora, Olly Murs, 30 Seconds To Mars and Selena Gomez before. "Fujiko" peaked position #3 on the Schweizer Illustrierten Ranking, one of the most importan magazine's in Europe. We released the debut-album of Konichiwa Panda called "Let's Write History!" in January 2013. In September 2013 we released our new single called "Golden". This song took part of the Suiss pre-selection for the "Eurovision Song Contest" as well like "Fujiko" that year before. "Golden" was choosed as one of the favorites songs of the Contest by Noiz TV and we were invited to present it on Radio 105 Zürich in November 2013. We presented the second Konichiwa Panda album "I Discovered Your Smile" on October 6, one day before the release, at an exclusiv "Wella Intercoiffure Mondial Fashion Show". The biggest Music & Video Distrubution Company of the World called TuneCore nominated Konichiwa Panda as the "Artist Of The Week" (November 12 - November 19) Worldwide! TuneCore posted this official Statement on November, the 12th of 2013: "German Electropop band Konichiwa Panda creates music inspired by Japanese influences & childhood memories. #ArtistOfTheWeek". Alexander Schulze is currently writing Songs for the K-Pop Industrie, icluding his own band and other Korean Groups and Projects.
