Tasha Lloyd is an Australian singer/songwriter and front woman of Melbourne based band Kill the Darling.
Chasing the summer, Tasha bases herself in both Melbourne and Berlin. Known for her ethereal vocals and unique sense of song structure, Tasha constructs subtle, self-aware songs, juxtaposing themes of love and grief, endings and beginnings, wanderlust and domesticity.
Her music although cinematic, demands attention. Recalling traditional folk musicians such as Joan Baez, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Joni Mitchell.
