JACEK PELC
Unique kind of drummer, who is also a composing musician, arranger, conceptualist, and leader of many personal artistic projects, from 2 people`s mini formation GuDrumBa, and other drum Duets, up to a project for jazz Big Band, and 30 musicians` chamber orchestra, with participation of excellent Polish, and World Jazz musicians (Zbigniew Namysłowski, Jarek Śmietana, Leszek Kułakowski, Krzesimir Dębski, Janusz Muniak, David Friedman, Ed Schuller, Eddie Henderson, Pete Lockett, Darek Daray Brzozowski, and many others).
His original composition GuDrumBa was released in print on the pages of European Real Book - The Best of Contemporary Jazz from Europe, under the label of Sher Music Co. from USA – this Book is a collection of a works of such a luminaries as Joe Zawinul, Django Reinhardt, Ennio Morricone, among others. During his live shows, Jacek Pelc is often playing with the listeners by offering them attractive rhythmical interactions. He is a virtuoso of extended drumset. Pelc has recerded a wide list of CD`s, and a DVD both as a sideman, and the leader. Jacek has also a highly valueable professional experiences as a drum clinician, music reviewer, and Editor-in-Chief of Top Drummer magazine.
