Horseman combine modern groove and thrash metal with melodic depth, technical precision and an intense emotional edge. Their new album No Surrender in Dark Days was created between 2020 and 2024 under the direction of Michael Kolar, who produced, recorded and mixed the entire record. The mastering was handled by Machine, known for his work with Lamb of God, Suicide Silence and Bleeding Through, giving the album a powerful and internationally competitive sound.
Lyrically, No Surrender in Dark Days explores themes of personal darkness, resilience, internal struggle and the pressure of modern society. The songs move between aggressive modern metal attacks, dynamic shifts and atmospheric, melodic passages, resulting in a sound that is both heavy and emotionally charged.
On stage, Horseman have established themselves as a highly energetic and professional live act. They have performed alongside Hatesphere, Blaze Bayley, Illdisposed, Lay Down Rotten, Fool The Masses, Words of Farewell, ORCA and Mata Leão, among many others.
