HORLA formed in early 2017, the earliest iteration of HORLA came into existence whilst singer Nathan was playing in cinematic post-rock Manchester outfit Embers (under Brontone Management) and drummer Rob was carrying out session duties with emerging global talent Bipolar Sunshine.

Taking influence and also finding their moniker from Guy De Massapaunt's chilling short supernatural novel LA HORLA which see's an upper-class bourgeois man become tormented as he describes his troubled thoughts and feelings of anguish. Throughput the main protagonist's sanity and feelings are put into question as the HORLA progressively dominates his thoughts.

Debut Single 'Into The Void' Will be available for worldwide digital consumption on 13th April 2019 (Earth Day). Followed shortly by a short visual film written and directed by HORLA in association with WASP video.
