Hi Corea!’, the band formed by Clarisa Guerra (voice, rhythms and synth), Berni Ruiz (voice, guitars and keyboards) and Carlos Moreno (guitars and backing vocals), the three of them with an already established musical background in Spain.
Berni was Neorama’s frontman, a Spanish pop-rock band that shared the stage with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and signed for Warner Music Label. Carlos was the guitar and keyboard player in Neumática and Bombones, probably one of the best power-pop spanish bands, and Clarisa was a member of the punk lo-fi band known as The Brown kk’s or the rockabilly one Autocine Stoller. How their sentimental and musical roads converged, diverged and converged again is something that they should reveal in private offices. The three of them together with Pepe Benítez and Isidro Lucuix (drums and bass player) to play live, form one of the most exciting bands that their hometown, Sevilla, has seen born in the last few years.
Beautiful vocal harmonies tangle up with guitar loops and distorted keyboards blankets, pierced by a tremendous riff. A lysergic tale that would stand out in the song book of bands like Tame Impala or Woods.
