Their main inspirations are the brand new club scene in Berlin and NYC and artists such as Howling, Bob Moses, Whomadewho and HVOB.
They play live on stage what is usually part of a dj-set, mixing the most typical elements of a pop rock band with the contemporary club culture’s sound.
Hermit’s music style has a very introspective character, made of oneric guitars and voices and techno drums’ grooves.
The band’s first EP “Going Under” came out on 20 May 2016 (under INRI Torino label), consisting of two tracks: “Going Under” and a cover of the Black Keys’ hit “Lonely Boy”.
Even if the Hermit project was pretty new, they immediately started playing all around northern Italy. They also took part in I-Days Festival 2016 in Milan, where they performed on the famous Red Bull Tour Bus. More recently, Hermit were nominated and then won at the MTV awards for Best New Generation Electro.
