Waves Vienna 2026

Vom 1. bis 3. Oktober 2025 findet Wiens Club- und Showcase-Festival Waves zum sechzehnten Mal statt. Zahreiche Bühnen werden drei Tage lang von neuen Talenten und bereits etablierten Acts bespielt.
Waves Festival is the city's first club- and showcase festival. In late summer Vienna's most significant clubs and the public space will merge into the site of the Waves Festival.

WAVES FESTIVAL APPLICATION IS 100% FREE OF CHARGE
The package for performing acts includes:
Artist fee: € 300 (potentially subject to withhold tax)*
Accommodation: travelling party on show day
Catering: travelling party on show day
Pro Pass: each travelling party**
Backline: basic at venue (Drum kit, bass amp, guitar amp)
Travel costs: none

*The Austrian tax authorities require us as organisers to withhold 20% withholding tax for artists who are living outside of Austria.
However, we are allowed to transfer the fee in full in case the Artist's personal income in Austria not exceeding EUR 2.000 in 2026. If applicable we need together with the invoice or in time before the transfer
- a (personally or qualified digitally signed) confirmation of the Artist and
- a copy/scan of an identity card
for documentation.

**In addition to the fee, the artist/band will receive Pro Pass worth each 125€. With a Pro Pass you have access to the festival and the entire conference. The conference part includes panels with national and international professionals, receptions, speed meetings, delegates tour through Vienna (capacity limited!).
