We started Viva Sounds in 2017 with 7 bands playing two venues and grew it with the help from our community over the next editions to find our shape and form in 2019. We put on some 40 acts, doing a total of 50 shows in 10 venues over 2 nights. We're a club festival that wanna make things happen by people meeting people and we've seen that work numerous times by now. It's still all about smiles, shows and sticky floors.
Please read the info below CAREFULLY,
- We don't want you to play in/around Gothenburg two months prior to the event, and one month after, however, shows after Viva Sounds are fine, as long as you don't announce/promote them until after Viva Sounds.
** We provide each stage with a standard backline, basic drum kit plus amps for bass and guitars, along with a great and helpful tech well aware of the room you play.
*** All in-ears, wireless microphones, channel by channel backtracks, keyboards, special amps, breakables for drums, personal instruments - all that is on you. We are unable to provide you with this.
**** Last date to submit is August 1st, and we hope to give notice by September 1st, or close to it.
***** Viva Sounds this year happens 1st - 2nd of December.
