Pin is the first and only international music conference and showcase festival in Macedonia. In 2012 a group of perpetual enthusiasts formed PIN Conference, believing that one day it will become an essential catalyst for bettering the music scene in Macedonia and the region.
In 2019 by joining the INES Festival Network, the vision has grown to become a real-time achievement. We are officially a part of Gigmit’s talent program RISE, whose goal is to build towards an innovative, diverse and connected international live music landscape. This goal has developed even further in recent years as PIN has become a partner festival at HEMI Music Hub.
These continuous efforts have gained PIN global acknowledgement, most recently in 2022 by being presented with the best new event award at the Yearly Music Convention Awards (YMCA) that The Great Escape Festival and SESAC hosted in Brighton, UK.
PIN is an exciting event that brings together musicians and music professionals from around the world to connect, learn and perform. As a platform for networking and sharing knowledge, PIN is an excellent opportunity for up-and-coming artists to gain exposure and make new connections in the music industry. For musicians, the opportunity to perform at PIN can be invaluable. It offers a chance to showcase their talent in front of a diverse audience of music industry professionals, including agents, managers, bookers, and promoters. Additionally, the conference provides opportunities for musicians to network and learn from experienced industry experts, as well as attend informative panels and workshops.
In the past 9 years we’ve hosted the most amazing and knowledgeable delegates from Exit, Pohoda, Sziget, Glastonbury and so on and so far. The venue has been turned upside down and back to normal from Molchat Doma, Trio Mandili, Buena Vista Social Klub, Grupo Compay Secundo, The Guru Guru, Extraliscio, Mambo Kurt and it is an amazing chance for you to present your music in front of our audience.
