I started out as a singer/songwriter, playing love ballads on an acoustic guitar until the age of 20. Igrew up listening to a lot of rap and hip-hop but felt I had to fit my stereotype of a swoopy haired singer. I was never happy with the music I was making and felt anxious playing it to others, then I started rapping. Hip-Hop was the only music that made me feel truly happy when performing.
