As the moniker of Singer/Songwriter Rob Ashworth, Gaunt Story plays like a musical memoir. The third release by Ashworth (and the first international release under fledgling label Leise Laute Records), ‘Nothing Holds You Like A Song’ offers glimpses into the varying vicissitudes that plague the human condition — as harrowing as it is heartfelt.

At best, ‘Nothing Holds You Like A Song’ is an anchor that will keep you steady when you’re on the verge of drifting into nothingness upon the sea of life.
