With a voice that captivates and enthrals, Ell South writes and performs her songs with a passion and emotion that captures the imagination.
With Her Welsh and Slovenian heritage, music runs in her blood and sets her apart. Her music is a unique style of Indie pop with bold melodies and an abundance of harmonies that reflect the pop influences of Abba and The Bee Gees. Influences of Bruce Springsteen and Paul Simon can be noted in the story-telling style of her writing, with open and honest messages that capture it’s audience.
Ell South’s latest single ‘Lifeline’ is a shining of example of this as her personal and honest testament of loss will pull at the heartstrings and captures a feeling that almost all of us can relate to. To celebrate the release of the single, South and her band played a sell out release show at Cardiff's Big Top on Friday, 29th November.
