Dr.

No fake, real doctor!

Music, charity, medicine, passion. All these aspects get combined in a mixture of Carribbean, Oriental and Balkan Style with German, Turkish and English lyrics when “The Doctor” enters the stage.
VolkanikMan ( Volkan Aykaç) is a medical doctor, born and grown up in Berlin, Germany, as a child of Turkish Immigrants.
As a teenager he started singing and rapping. His first short gig as VolkanikMan was in 2002. From his own experience with racism, discrimination and influence of his belief (Islam) he decided in 2006 to become a charity singer to bring needy people positivity, love and attention by founding Actions – No Words – Charité Project.

“I know I can’t change the world, but I know that I can bring some light into some peoples’ life. This is what I seek for!”

People who criticize him for using charity to become famous get the answer: “Charity is not the concept for my music, but my music is the concept for charity!”

His songs haven’t always got the intention to spread a serious message, but his concerts/gigs: collecting money for needy people, supporting peace, unity, respect and fighting racism, discrimination and homophobia.

It is not an easy road, but worth of going it!
