Double Bangz started in 2012 when Isa and Hassan, both solo artists, we decided to work together because we shared the same passion for music, and both believed in the ethos "Team work makes the dream work."

Double Bangz have had hits with “No Lazy,” “Borcor,” “Gbashy Gbashy” and their most popular song, “Circulate,” featuring the legendary Awilo Longomba.

The duo has performed in France, Holland and across UK alongside popular UK acts like Lady Leshur, Cashtastic, Mr Silva and Moe Logo.

In 2015, Double Bangz was the opening act at the Afro-Beats Live event hosted by DJ Abrantee, a show that was headlined by JJC and the Big Bruvaz, at the prestigious Jazz Cafe where many established artists and musicians have given performances.

Also in 2015, Double Bangz made history by becoming the first Sierra Leonean music act to receive nomination in the All African KORA Music Award 2016 for Best Group in Africa and they won awards for Best Video and Best Group in an online music award held by 232Connect. In addition, the duo also won the AWOL UK Award for best Music Acts 2016.
