Born and raised from Chattanooga,Tn “Star Status” which is her signature, is what she brings to the world. While receiving a basketball scholorship to a junior college, she realized her passion for music and outgoing personality have to begin somewhere. She started her radio career at Chattanooga State the "WAWL" then made her way as an intern with WJTT Power 94.3 as known. With her consistent hard work, the talented, natural, and go-getter “Star” aired her afternoon show on “Good Sundays” from 3pm-5pm and working the board for other aired shows.While doing what she loves, she has accomplish many goals around her hometown from connect people and supporting local businesses. As a DJ, she has continued to push her love of different genres of music such as rap, hip/hop, dance, oldies, mainstream, and pop mixes and mixtapes. breaking some of the hottest artist around the world, she hosts, blends, and showcase various unsigned artist. In the midst of dj’n multiple events, she also was able to make her way overseas, where she aired her mix shows on “Ratchet” Friday’s on East Africa’s Tanzania Choice FM 102.5. While doors have been opening for JStar, she relocated from mainstream to Atlanta,GA where she was a DJ (Coalition DJs) " radio personality of “The Progress Report” on Highly Unique internet radio.Just to name a few events she has open for ATL’s legendary own DJ Jelly, Bryan M. While progressing her career in the media industry, she wants to capture a role in the life of an actress. Since she has graduated from acting school, she has made her way to the big screen with her first speaking role on the movie sets such as upcoming series WeAreFamTV, Dirty South House Arrest , DJ premier on Nightschool, Step Up Highwater Youtube series and local plays such as First Lady, An Equal Reacher, The Last Laugh. Always on the go, DJ JStar also have brand ambassador experiences along with companies such as Sam' Club Nathan;s Hotdog, Blue Point Brewing, State Farm, Metro PCS, ASC Live Nation Concert, Suga Silms, Radio Gods, Epic Visuals,33 Record Ent. and various artist brands. As JStar accomplishes her goals and dreams, she is open to the possibilities while exceeding in her craft as an artist and living life traveling the world peacefully.
