While still in school I got my first experience of DJing on pirate radio stations after school, before moving on to joining a grime group, which culminated in a performance at the Theatre Royal Stratford.
My first experience of using a set of decks and mixing house music was at a friends house on a pair of SL1210s. This was in 2002 when most teenagers in my area were still listening/rapping or playing grime.
I discovered very quickly that I was able to mix and after cutting my teeth playing at house raves across London. It was then that a friend encouraged me to try internet radio,
I joined Groove London Radio in 2016 for a six month stint before joining Touch FM. Unhappy with the set up, I left and joined House559music. However, I am now looking to build on my experiences and develop my skills, whilst at the same time reach a wider audience.
