Cult Band Member (One Path Remixes) | Album | 2022 |
After sharing several singles in the past couple of years and performing in Paris (Supersonic), Berlin (8MM Club) and at the New Colossus Festival, they self-released their debut LP “Cult Band Member” in September 2021.
The first half of the album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Orchin (Hatchie, Launder, Tamaryn) and then
completed in Madrid at Alejandro Leiva’s studio. The LP’s initial vinyl pressing of 100 copies sold out almost immediately during pre-order, forcing the band to manufacture a second pressing.
On its release day, they performed two sold out shows at Madrid’s Sala El Sol with support coming from Elias Bender Rønnenfelt (Iceage).
Their international adventure will continue in 2022 with a performance
at Eurosonic Noorderslag in The Netherlands, two dates at The New Colossus Festival in New York, the Esmorga Fest and Tomavistas Extra.
In the continuous search for the shoe “Lovers” immerses us in that sound that fits the Dharmacide number, the band has crossed paths with one of the leading shoemakers, Mark Gardener (RIDE), who has produced, mixed and mastered “Lovers”, in his Oxford study.
This is the first of two tracks recorded with Mark that will be released.
“Lovers” immerses us in that sound melancholy to which the band has accustomed us. An astral journey sustained over clouds of guitars. Guitars like the Rickenbacker 330
that shines in “Leave Them All Behind” and with which “Lovers” has been recorded, is already part of the soul
of the new single from Dharmacide, which will be released June 7th.
