Derek played in various bands before more recently finding his niche as a solo singer-songwriter. He has released two new studio solo albums both of which are receiving excellent critical acclaim - "Sometimes" was released in 2015 and "Seasons" in 2016.

A regular performer around Liverpool's acoustic music scene, Derek is also an enthusiastic promoter of local music and co-hosts regular events with Liverpool Acoustic.
