Belfast trio Decomposing In Paris are purveyors of piano-driven pop of the experimental, atmospheric variety.

Likened to Bjork, Kate Bush, Bat For Lashes..

Juxtaposing atmospheric orchestral pop with an adventurous spirit of sonic experimentation, Decomposing In Paris have just released their second DIY EP, ‘Cocoon’. Fronted by the quirky and winged Becca Hopkins (who possibly believes she is an actual fairy), this Belfast trio has been compared by audiences to Kate Bush, Bjork, Muse, and Regina Spektor... but this is one rabbit-hole unlike any other. Essential to the signature sound are scuba-diving composer and classical pianist Aoife Lynch plus the uncooperative guitarist and producer Garvin Clements whose arrangements have wooed audiences as part of BBC Introducing’s In Session, GiftedLive.com, and a self-organized US Tour.
