Caroll Vanwelden is a Belgian jazz singer/songwriter/pianist.

After the amazing success of her first Shakespeare & Jazz album in 2012, and her standard album "Don't Explain" with songs from the 40ties in 2013, Caroll released her second Shakespeare & Jazz album in October 2014. With her own compositions on the Shakespeare sonnets, she creates a ground breaking, fresh and emotional jazzy sound. The amazing intensity of the compositions and the accuracy and intensity of her voice, elevates Shakespeare's words to a new dimension. Together with her musicians: Thomas Siffling, whose elegant melodies on the trumpet and flugelhorn intertwine with Caroll’s expressive and warm voice, fellow musician Mini Schulz, smoothly stroking or groovy plucking on the contrabass for added texture, and band member Ralf Gustke accenting the flexible rhythms with the drums and various percussion instruments, Caroll Vanwelden has once again produced a rich tapestry for jazz lovers around the world.
