Capitan Tifus are the creators of Latin Fanfare.

A combination of s ska, rock, balcan and latin music.
This fusion of rhythms make the public dance from the beginning till the end of the show.
Created in 2004, Capitan Tifus has been touring around the world for three years including Europe, Rusia, China, Japan and Southamerica playing 100 concerts and festivals a year.
They have two albums, "Flores del Bosque de Bolonia" (2007) and "E Viva!" (2012) and are working in their 3rd project 2014.

Capitan Tifus was created in Argentina in 2004, creators of the "Latin Fanfarre", genre that combines ska, rock, balcan and latin music. Along the way, musicians from around the world (Spain, Greece, Mexico, Rusia, Brasil, Netherlands, Japan, Germany) have joined the band helping to create a unique sound, and today Capitan Tifus´s ship is more than a band, it is a way of living!

The first álbum "Flores del Bosque de Bolonia" (2007) was produced by Matías Cella (producer of Kevin Johansen and Jorge Drexler) and was edited by EMI Publishing. Their second album "E Viva!" (2012) also under Cella´s production was edited in Austria by Newton Records.

In 2011 they were invited to the BOtanique Festival (Bologna, Italia) representing the music from Buenos Aires city. This gave birth to their first Interanacional Tour with 40 concierts in Italy, Germany, Czeck Republic, Austria and Spain.

The “Mondo Tour 2012” was of 87 concierts during 7 months around Argentina,Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Czeck Republic, Austria, Ukraine, Russia, China and Japan. Important festivals in this tour were the Fusion Festival (Larz, DE), Mighty Sounds (Tabor, CZ), Nuevo Sol (Rostock, DE), Movement Festival (Perm, RUS), Harvest Festival (Moscú, RUS)
and OCT-Loft Jazz Festival (Shenzhen, China).

In 2013, their third international tour included Latinamerica and Europe. Started in Buenos Aires with Pepsi Music en Buenos Aires and included european festivals such as Trutnov (CZ), Wild Mint (Russia), Mundial (Belgium), as part of the 60 concerts of the 5 months around Europe. They also shared gigs, during the 2013 tour, with Bomba Stereo (Lido, Berlin), Karamelo Santo (Die Pumpe, Kiel) and Bersuit Vergarabat (Karneval der Kulturen, Berlin).

The band was Declared of Cultural Interest by the Secretary of Culture and the Ministery of Foreign Affairs of Argentina in 2011, 2012 y 2013.
