Originating from a loose improvisational project, their music begins to take shape on it’s journey north through the Mexican desert, up the west coast of the U.S, along the shores of Vancouver Island, through the Manchester rain until finally, when it arrives in Berlin on a cold November night, it has grown into a wondrous collection of instrumental delicacies.

While on their way Caida Libre is visited by a host of musicians, Dragon Flutists and English Horn players, Double Bassists and Cellists, Drummers and Percussionists to name but a few, each adding a little taste and color of their various styles and backgrounds, from Indie Flamenco, Desert Folk and Cinematic Jazz to swinging South Americana.

Although momentarily based firmly in Berlin, Caida Libre loves to keep their performances unpredictable, inviting new musicians, playing each concert with a slightly new exotic yet familiar flavor, allowing their music to continue its travels, and inviting you to come along.
