Standing as a mixture of 80s synth melancholy and the raw pulse of modern alternative sound,
Bunar Lift is a Bosnian duo born in the winter of 2021, formed by childhood friends Stjepan Markunović and Matej Matinović.
Their music channels unease, weaving analog synths, haunted vocals, and cold drum machines into songs that echo with memory and silence. Rooted in the cracks between past and present, East and West, they craft not just music, but atmosphere. Bunar Lift isn’t here to entertain — they’re here to haunt.
