Seine erste Band gründete er als Schüler in Morondava mit dreizehn Jahren und nannte sie Bivy. Sein Musikstil wurde von dieser Region Menabe im Südwesten von Madagaskar beeinflusst, beziehungsweise von den Hirten der Zebus und den traditionellen Liedern Sakalavas.
Später war er in der Gruppe BEREVY mit Haja Resampa zusammen. Dort war er auch ein aktives Mitglied des örtlichen lutherischen religiösen Chorals. Unter diesem Einfluss entwickelte er seinen Stil weite, auch mit Jugendfreunden wie Fataka und Eric, dem Sohn von Fafah, aus der Gruppe Mahaleo, die beide auch aus Menabe stammen.
Jedes Wochenende haben sie am Strand Gitarre gespielt und gemeinsam gesungen, mit Perkussionen und Mundharmonikas, indem sie Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan oder Ladysmith Black Mambazo interpretierten sowie Mahaleo, (die populärste Gruppe Madagaskars).
Später spielten sie in der Stadt Morondava, in einem von Touristen gern besuchten Restaurant (Village Touristique) und sie wurden unter dem Namen Village Touristique Band immer bekannter, dort bekamen sie auch ihre ersten Verträge.
In den 90ern gingen die drei Freunde nach Antananarivo um zu studieren und um ihre Band weiterzubringen.
1993 gründeten sie die Band TSIVERY, das wörtlich übersetzt "nicht verloren" heisst und in der Bivy der Leader war. Weitere Mitglieder kamen dazu und Paly, Tiana und Hanta schlossen sich der Band an. Ihre erste Aufnahme wurde1996 im Studio Vitech gemacht. Das zweite Album wurde in Frankreich vom Produktionshaus Vakoka aufgenommen. Das dritte und auch das vierte dann 1999 in Antananarivo im Studio Mars, bei dem Bivy bis zuletzt geblieben ist.
Berühmt wurde die Gruppe durch internationale Aufritte von 2003, 2004 und 2005 in Norwegen und Dänemark, und gleichzeitig entstand das Album Samonta.
Im März 2000 hat Bivy beim Studio Mars als Tontechniker, Arrangeur und Mixer angefangen, es war das erste geeignete Studio in Madagaskar, das den internationalen Standards für ein Tonstudio entsprach. Er machte dort Aufnahmen und mischte die Werke renommierter Künstler wie Régis Gizavo, Jaojoby, Mahaleo, Rajery, Talike Gelle, Tsiliva, Koike und Tinondia...
Die Band „Bivy“ entstand wieder 2008, genauso wie vor über 20 Jahren, in Zusammenarbeit mit Profimusikern. Er spielt die typische Musik des Südens und des Südwestens von Madagaskar mit den traditionellen Instrumenten wie der Langoro, eine madagassische Version vom Drum, die Akustikgitarre und Bass begleitet.
Bivy's größter Wunsch ist es die madagassische Musik auf die internationale Musikszene zu richten, indem er auf Originalität und Echtheit setzt.

Bivy is called Richard Aimé RAMANANKORAISINA with right name and comes from a musical family, so he occupied himself with music very early. His first band he founded as a schoolboy in Morondava at the age of thirteen years and called them Bivy. His music style was influenced by the region of Menabe in the southwest of Madagascar, by the shepherds of the Zebus and the traditional songs Sakalavas.
Later he was in the group BEREVY together with Haja Resampa . There he was also an active member of the local Lutheran religious Chorals. Under this influence he developed his style wide, also with friends of youth like Fataka and Eric, to the son of Fafah, from the group Mahaleo both also come from Menabe. They played guitar and sung together every week-end on the beach , with percussions and oral accordions, while they interpreted Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan or Ladysmith Black Mambazo as well as Mahaleo, (the most popular group of Madagascar).
Later they played in the city of Morondava, in a restaurant, visited primarily from foreign tourists, under the name Village Touristique they became more and more known, here they also got their first contracts.
In the 90th three friends went to Antananarivo to study and to help their Band.
In 1993 they founded the Band TSIVERY which literally translated is called "not lost" and in which Bivy was the leader. Paly, Tiana and Hanta joined the Band as new members. Their first recording was recorded in 1996 in the Vitech studios.
The second album was taken up in France by the production house Vakoka. The third one and also fourth then in 1999 in Antananarivo in the studio Mars, in wich Birdi remained until the end. The group became famous by international appearences of 2003, in 2004 and 2005 in Norway and Denmark, and at the same time there originated the album Samonta.
In March 2000 bivy started at Studio Mars as a sound engineer, arranger and mixer, it was the first proper studio in Madagascar, which meet international standards for a recording studio.
He made recordings there and mixed the works of renowned artists such as Régis Gizavo, Jaojoby, Mahaleo, Rajery, Talike Gelle Tsiliva, Koike and Tinondia ...
The band "bivy" arose again in 2008, as well as over 20 years ago, in collaboration with professional musicians.
He plays the typical music of the South and Southwest of Madagascar with traditional instruments like the Langoro, a Malagasy version of the drum, acoustic guitar and bass.
Bivy's biggest wish is to be directed it the madagassische music upon the international music scene, while he places on originality and authenticity.
