Music that this band performs is mostly instrumental, and it is a fine mix of several music genres including Dub, Funk, Post Rock and Jazz. Their signature blend of harmonic instrumentals merged with psychodelic sounds, together with melodic guitars and playfull rhytms first debuted in February 2012. when they recorded their first demo album called "Zabava Badava" in Stara Pazova. This demo album slowly began to pick up steam taking them to many festivals and gigs. Quality and originality of this band was recognized by the audience and they won the first prize in June 2012. on "Sumadijski Demo Fest" in Kragujevac, as well as first prize on " 46. Zajecarska Gitarijada" in August 2012.
After a great success, at the end of the 2012. they are releasing their first EP called "Ustaj sad!" with 4 songs. It is worth mentioning that they've performed on numerous events and festivals .
At the beginning of 2013. Bas i Stega recorded their first video for the song "Sa Djavolom kule gradim" in cooperation with the "Pro Vision" studio in Lukavac, BiH.
On their performances band is spreading love towards music and life in general, which is well recieved by the audience. They were announced as the third best new band in 2012. by the Pop Box.
During 2014, Bas i Stega was working on their first full studio album which was released on YouTube at the beginning of 2015, together with video for the song "Voznja". The album was recorded in studio "3x2" in Pancevo with nine songs on it.
Album was very succesfull, and after many promotions and gigs in Serbia and other countries band is taking a break in 2016. Bas i Stega is back on the track in 2017. with a few changes in their line up and adding a synth. During 2018./2019. bend is recording their second studio album "Negde daleko in Belgrade Hills River studio with Srdjan Popov as the producer. Album was published in 2019. by the „SKC Kragujevac“ on the CD.
In 2020. bend was working on a new songs during the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine. In a home production they are recording a song „Odiseja“ that was published on YouTube platform with the video as a gesture of unconditional creative impulse. On March 2021. bend is recording a live session in BIGZ as a farewell from their rehersing studio and working on a third studio album that is to be expected in 2022. In a meantime the band is recording a new live session  in a cooperation with a music platform Balkanrock and relesing it in April 2022 as the announcing of what is coming up on the new album.
