Bang goes the Innocence was founded in 2012 by Elke, Anna, Lukas, Johannes and Philipp.

First it started as an acoustic band but later they also played "loud" gigs and have done so ever since. They are influenced by bands as Spinnerette, Sweethead, The Distillers and Queens of the Stone.
