They where presented for the first time at the University Department for Croatian Studies for the course Miroslav Krleža: vječno žensko i ono političko led by prof. Suzana Marjanić. The play got recognition at many festivals throughout Croatia, and was performed in theaters, clubs and open spaces, changing setup and line-up, proving that Balads of Petrica Kerempuh are adaptable to any space, time or audience. The play has been presented more than 70 times.
