Atariame is an ambient folk artist Natalia Salmina, based in Russia.
Natalia's music is ethereal folk songs played with 12-string guitar and ambient synthesizers. According to The Wire, it sounds quite delicate though having a bit of an outsider feeling, moodwise it might be even closer to ambient black metal acts, such as Striborg.
Atariame’s music was as well reviewed in Bandcamp Daily, Fact Magazine, Mixmag Russia and more. In 2018 Atariame was a participant in Red Bull Music Academy in Berlin, a residency and community for musicians. She also toured Italy, Catalonia, played live gigs in Turkey, Korea and Thailand. Atariame's music was released by Californian labels Not Not Fun and Constellation Tatsu.
