Working with traditional music, Rubén generates new songs by mixing different samples from throughout the world geography. Antropoloops develops from a creative and amateur approach to ethnomusicology inspired in the remix culture, a celebration of the common in the different.
All remixes are based on a fragment of a song, to which other fragments are added following a set of minimal rules:

+ The tone is not changed, all loops are in their original tones
+ Only small tempo adjustments are made so that the original character of the song does not vary excessively.
+ Working with 8 tracks, there are a maximum of 8 loops playing together

We perform in two ways, depending on the event venue. A Dance DJ Session or a Talk/Session where people can take seats as we play songs talking about the project and some musical fragments.
