To compliment his beats, he then learnt
how to play the bass guitar and adapted the
turntable as his next creative instrument. At 15, he
taught music production at an international hip-hop
workshop alongside some of his favourite Polish rap
artists and debuted as a DJ. Working with local
artists at his home studio helped to elevate his
production, editing, arranging and engineering
abilities, which in 2010 led to him winning the ‘F.
Chopin Remix Competition’ organised by The Polish
Ministry of Culture. An unusual range of
performances as a DJ, such as playing at numerous
MMA events contributed to maturing his
adaptability and flow conducting to different crowds.
Amadeusz has always had a very specific vision for
his signature sound. Since other engineers could not
achieve quite the sound for his music, he then
invested another decade into becoming a mighty
mix engineer. In 2017 he conducted mix
engineering workshops in Africa for very talented local artists in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
After that he taught himself how to play the trumpet and delved into studying the art of
mastering. The seeds of learning jazz and music theory sprouted into creating his debut
experimental electronic-jazz album “温故知新” (onkochishin).
He has performed at iconic venues including Soho House Mumbai, Neighbourgoods
Market in Cape Town, The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, The Richmix,
Mercato Metropolitano and was a resident artist and a resident DJ at The Roundhouse.
These days he is helping other artists to finish their songs the way they intended, as well
as preparing his whole beat catalogue to be released in volumes and incorporates live
trumpet while DJing.
Creating a song is a chain of events consisting of songwriting, arranging, playing/singing/
rapping, recording, editing, producing, mixing, mastering, all the way to performing and
DJing. A thorough understanding of the full spectrum of music creation strengthens each
and every link as well as the whole chain. Decades of daily experience, a humongous
passion and deep innerstanding of all these segments, with the technically intuitive ability
of presenting music to people in a DJ set as well as a live performance, compliments each
element individually and collectively as a whole. Because of this multi—disciplinary
approach, Amadeusz’ expertise and sound alchemy is second to none.
