They combine a vintage rock-blues sensitivity with a contemporary aggressive
energy.
Having already recorded two albums with award-winning producer, Greg Haver (Manic Street
Preachers) and gained over 7,500 on-line fans, Albany Down can be seen performing at
venues and festivals all over the UK and Europe. They are crowd favourites at Barfly
Camden, Robin 2 and the legendary 100 Club.
In 2014, they toured the UK supporting New Jersey’s Southside Johnny and The Asbury
Jukes, which included the highlight of their year when they played at the O2 Shepherds Bush
Empire. This was followed by appearances at festivals in Belgium and the Netherlands
before a very successful tour of Germany with The Brew.
Both Albany Down albums ‘South of the City’ (2011) and ‘Not Over Yet’ (2013) are available
for download on iTunes, Amazon and at albanydown.com. Albany Down’s third
album is due for release in 2016.
