Sentimentality, catchy melodies and a deep voice are the three pillars of the Bilbao based airu.
Founded in 2018, Airu have managed to position themselves in the alternative music scene at the state level, being recognized by media such as Mondosonoro, Neo 2 or Movistar+. After being selected as Keychange artist in 2022, and their performances at recognized festivals such as the Waves Vienna of Austria, the basque trio joins the label Oso Polita, with whom they launched their first LP, ‘Con lo bueno y con pena’, and are presenting it on an extensive tour, in addition to participating in top level festivals such as the Bilbao BBK Live, or the American New Colossus and SXSW in 2024.
