The Grow Yourself EP | EP | 2014 |
Making music that could be described as a hypnotic blend of folk and romantic-era piano, John's lyrics are very much influenced by the natural world, encouraging the listener to engage with their own inner peace through nature... or at least go out and look at a tree once in a while :)
His debut EP was released in May 2014, entitled "The Grow Yourself EP". It was recorded and mixed in Dublin by Christopher Barry (Ye Vagabonds; Floorstaff; Myles Manley) and features the musical talents of Christophe Capewell on violin, Alison Byrne and Holly Pereira on backing vocals among other gifted creatures.
