Their unique style is a mixture of dream pop and shoegaze, which meets with a dance music from the 1980s Creating a mystical world of synths and ghost pop with a sense of poise and drama.

They have performed in several local and international music festivals including Tallinn Music Week, Intsikurmu, Kultuuritolm, Tartu Indiefest, Loftas Fest, Positivus Festival and Summer Sound Festival and shared the stage with Zola Jesus and Kate Boy. Their first album Saturnine, signed by I Love You Records in 2013, was remarked as best electronic pop album of Baltic coast by music critics and bloggers. In 2015, Zebra Island’s newest singles ‘’Lights and Shadows’’ and ‘’Jewels’’ were included to BBC Radio 3 playlist.
