Dark Days Down Under Tour EP | EP | 2016 |
This time, Zee and Seb will be crossing five states with their ‘Face The Iron Ram’ tour.
The explosive duo are fast becoming hot music property, thanks to their most legendary live performances. Featuring international artist, musician and producer Zee Gachette (Z-Star, SlowTrainSoul) on vocals, acoustic guitar and drums, and guitar prodigy Sebastien Heintz on Electric, Lapsteel, Synth, Loops, FX and Bass. Firstly, it’s an impressively huge sound for a two piece band, that travels through an intoxicating and modern-day mix of Country Blues and Desert Rock. But it’s so much more than that. While some bands open doors, Z-STAR DELTA are what’s on the other side. The duo thrive on stage, weaving and journeying between one another; one moment seductive, the next furious.
Z-STAR DELTA are the authentic live experience that makes you want to grab your friends, your lovers, strangers in the street, even the goddamned succubus of your dreams and scream ‘YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS BAND!’. And you won’t see them once, you’ll see them again and again. Why? Because it’s never ever enough!
Musically speaking, it’s no surprise that the frontwoman’s captivating tone and grit have been compared to the likes of Nina Simone and Janis Joplin. But what’s even more impressive is that her powerful vocals are often delivered on top of her equally compelling, Bo Diddly inspired, tribal drum grooves. Whilst Seb’s masterful musicality draws upon the creativity influence and emotional feel of Ben Harper, with phat catchy blues riffs akin to rock legend Jack White. Together, they’re a force to be reckoned with.
To coincide with the tour, the duo will be releasing their first official EP ‘I Put A Spell On You’ with their debut single in September. Plus there’s rumours there may well be an Australian exclusive ‘Live In The Studio’ tour album in the making!
