At a young age he was influenced by hip-hop culture by his father who was involved in the culture as well as his cousin; who's better known as the Fresh Prince. He picked up rapping at a young age; his father would always play hip-hop/rap. By the time Klone was in the fifth grade, he already had a portable CD player of his own, which always had the Fugees, Outkast, or Jay-Z, his declared favorite rapper, playing in it.
His parents weren't rich but they always kept Klone in a decent neighborhood, until their divorce. His mother was forced to move to a rougher part of town, where at any given time someone could and would be killed. This afforded Klone more spare time with his cousin, Will Smith.
Both experiences impacted Klone and his music for the better. By the time Klone was in 11th grade, he and his brothers had created a mixtape that they then passed around their high school. After high school and dropping out of college, Klone took his music talents to Austin, Texas where he has opened up for Young Buck, made a video that landed on WorldStarHipHop, launched a mixtape hosted by Dj Haze, headlined his own SXSW shows, booked for multiple shows at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Chingo Bling features, and performed with artists such as Kirko Bangz, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, and many more.
After personal issues forced Klone to take a break, he is committed to heading back to work, travel the world bringing his Southern California style to a country and city near you!
