Mestiça | Album | 2014 |
The album Mestiça is the result of a totally new approach to bringing together sounds from the Brazilian countryside samba, such as Chula, music from troubadour composers, such as Elomar, Roberto Mendes, Patrício Hidalgo, and inspiration from a new generation strongly influenced by African references, such as Tiganá Santana. All of it sang for the first time in the African dialect Kicongo.
